The hotel is a good choice for a budget stay, with small rooms but a great deal when booked online for AUD$60 per night. Extra lighting in the rooms would be beneficial. The service was exceptional, with incredibly helpful and kind staff. The location is convenient, especially near shopping malls, but a bit far from downtown and tourist spots. The dining experience was hit or miss, with a decent selection but occasional shortages. Overall, a value-for-money option for a short stay.
I had a pleasant stay at City Express. The rooms, although a bit on the small side, were clean and cozy. Getting completely dark at night made for a good night's sleep. The price of AUD $60 per night through an internet booking site was a great deal, cheaper than their website.
